For the 2006 version, worked with content providers, graphics designers, and programmers to develop architecture and page content. Wrote, edited, reviewed, and tested website content. Coordinated ongoing maintenance. For the 2009 version, worked with graphics designers and programmers to enhance the site's look and feel. Reviewed existing content for usability and currency. |

The National Cancer Institute State Cancer Legislative Database (SCLD) provides legislators and the general public with information about state laws related to cancer. Figure A is the 2006 version, and figure B is the current version. The redesign in 2009 focused on enhancing usability and updating the graphic design. Completely reorganized architecture to provide users with direct access to content based on topic. Worked with programmers to develop administrative tools for producing both web content and print documents from database. Worked with graphics designer to layout pages in modular and user-friendly fashion. |
